How it works

From checkout to connected in four steps

  1. 1

    Choose your destination

Search for a country, or pick a regional plan for a multi-country trip.

  2. 2

    Select your data plan

Compare data allowance, validity and plan details, then check out.

  3. 3

    Install your eSIM

Scan the QR code or enter the details manually. Installation needs an internet connection.

  4. 4

    Connect when you arrive

Turn on the eSIM and data roaming for it when the plan's activation conditions are met.

Installation and activation requirements depend on the plan and your device. Each plan lists when its validity starts. Read the full guide

Why Re-sim

Straightforward travel data

Plain prices, clear plan details and a quick setup.

  • One upfront price

Each plan has a fixed price shown before checkout. Re-sim never bills you after your trip.

  • Set up before you fly

  • Keep your main SIM

On dual-SIM phones your usual number can stay active for calls and texts while the eSIM handles data.

  • QR code or manual setup

Scan a QR code, or enter the installation details by hand if you're installing on the same phone.

FAQ

Good to know

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a SIM card built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you download a mobile plan to it, usually by scanning a QR code.

A Re-sim eSIM gives you mobile data in your destination without swapping out your regular SIM.

Is my phone compatible?

Your phone must support eSIM and must not be locked to a mobile operator. Support depends on the exact model, the country it was sold in, and the operator it was bought from.

Our compatible devices guide explains how to check your phone in a few seconds.

When should I install my eSIM?

Install it before you travel, while you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. Installing doesn't always start your plan; check the plan's activation details to see when the validity period begins.

Can I make calls and send texts?

Re-sim plans are data plans. They don't include a phone number for regular calls or SMS unless the plan page says so.

You can use internet-based apps for calls and messages over the data connection. Your main SIM can stay active for calls if your phone supports dual SIM.

Can I get a refund?

If we can't deliver your eSIM, you'll get a full refund. Refunds for eSIMs that have been delivered or installed depend on our refund policy and the plan's terms.
